Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS), the company owned by Manny Villar, announced that it has teamed up with the Philippine Cable and Telecommunications Association Inc. (PCTA) to air its ALLTV channel in different parts of the Philippines.

This means that ALLTV will be streamed in another 300 cable operators across the Philippines.

Before this milestone deal, ALLTV is only available on Channel 2 on free TV and Planet Cable. Plus, on different channels in Sky and CignalTV, GSAT, Cablelink, and a few others.

President Maribeth Tolentino of AMBS highlighted the deal’s significance as it will allow them to reach more households in the country.

Meanwhile, PCTA’s Venancio Lo expressed that cable TV “still plays an important role as far as distributing content or programs like this, as we are the last mile in delivering content to the most far-flung areas across the country.”

As of today, ALLTV’s show line-up includes Wowowin by popular game show host Willie Revillame, and Toni Talks, which initially started as a YouTube show by Toni Gonzaga.

AMBS also signed a deal with CNN Philippines’ to show the latter’s flagship news program to ALLTV. News Night is hosted by Pia Hontiveros and airs from Monday to Friday at a 6 PM primetime slot.
