Thor’s Mjolnir is possibly one of the most interesting items in the Marvel Universe. It has sprung different merch, from keychains to flash drives. Now, ASUS has dialed things all the way up high by introducing its own ASUS ROG Mjolnir, a full-fledged gaming uninterruptible power supply (UPS) slash portable power supply.

Launched at COMPUTEX 2024 in Taipei, the ASUS ROG Mjolnir is a PSU that looks and is shaped like Thor’s mighty hammer turned upside down, which is in its natural state until someone worthy lifts it.

The base of the hammer has 2x 10W USB-A ports; 2x USB-C PowerDelivery with 100W and 65W output each; and 4x 3-prong outlets. It can also wirelessly charge Qi compatible devices.

There’s a large display that shows the battery life and current output status. Next to it, of course, is the ASUS Republic of Gamers logo lit in RGB. Everything in the hardware is usable — even the handle is attached magnetically, which works as a flashlight.

As per ASUS, the ROG Mjolnir can power a PC with a GeForce RTX 4080 GPU for an hour. Great for campers or those who like to play games outdoors for some reason.

The official price for the ASUS ROG Mjolnir, as well as its release date in markets like the Philippines, are yet to be known.
