The newest installment in the Fallout universe was recently unveiled at the end of Bethesda’s day-long stream on Twitch. The stream featured a shot of a Vault Boy statue with a background of a TV monitor displaying the “Please stand by” line.
At the end of the stream, the newest Fallout Teaser trailer was released to the delight of many fans.
The number 76 in the Fallout 76 title is linked to Vault 76, which is presumed to be the setting of the new game. For those unaware, Vault 76 is one of the seventeen control vaults where no experimentation was done. Vault 76 has been mentioned in previous games like Fallout 3 and Fallout 4.
The trailer featured a well-maintained vault, different from the previous Vaults we are accustomed to. It featured a nice bedroom, a cozy activity room, relatively clean bathroom, kitchen and a living room where the TV is seen to be showing a video of the Vault’s entrance.

The vault also looked like it had a party in order to commemorate “Reclamation Day”. This could mean the Vault 76 Dwellers are now wandering across the wasteland in order to reclaim the land. The trailer then ended with a shot of a dweller, wearing the Pip-Boy and donning the Blue Vault suit with the number 76 on it’s back.
There are rumors that Fallout 76 will be “an online game of some sort” as Kotaku reported.
Hopefully, we could get more information on the new game at this upcoming E3 2018 event in Los Angeles where Bethesda is scheduled to have it’s own press conference there. The game is expected to be made available on PS4, XBOX, and PC Platforms.
