NetEase Games has officially launched the global pre-registration for the street basketball mobile game Dunk City Dynasty, licensed by the NBA and NBPA. It’s set to release later this year for Android and iOS.
Like most games, players who sign up early via pre-registration will receive exclusive rewards, including an exclusive avatar, during the game’s launch. With every pre-registration, the rewards get better for everyone.
Here are the current pre-registration rewards:
- Novice Growth Pack – unlocked at 500,000 subscribers
- Star Development Pack – unlocked at 1,000,000 subscribers
- Superstars Gift Box – unlocked at 2,500,000 subscribers
- Star Player Kuminga (originally Derrick Rose) – unlocked at 5,000,000 subscribers
As of writing, 3,500,000+ hoopers have already subscribed to the game, guaranteeing the novice growth pack, the star development pack, and the superstars gift box.
The game recreates a world where NBA superstars meet streetball hustle – the ultimate pick-up game. Since the NBA and NBPA licensed Dunk City Dynasty, we can expect to see both young and old stars in the game.
The Dunk City Dynasty website highlights the current superstars, Luka Doncic (Lakers), Stephen Curry (Warriors), Kevin Durant (Suns), Giannis Antetokounmpo (Bucks), Jayson Tatum (Celtics), and Joel Embiid (Sixers). It also features Nikola Jokić (Nuggets), Paul George (Sixers), and Bam Adebayo (Heat).
You can play a game of 11 for a quick-strike intensity, 3 vs 3 for an intense half-court match, or opt for the 5 vs 5 full-court battle.

The game was soft launched in the Philippines two years ago and has been crucial to its development. With the official global launch, the Philippine server will close on April 23, 2025, and be shut down officially in May 2025.
