A handheld gaming console with 3 different controller configurations? Count us in.
After releasing their fan favorites such as the Win 3 and XP last year – GDP is back at it again with their newest offering: the GDP XP Plus – the world’s first modular android game console with swappable controllers.

Modular you say?
The GDP XP Plus comes with 3 different controller modules – perfect for any game genre. The first module is an Xbox Controller Module – this is suitable for those gamers who prefer fighting, RPG, or sports games thanks to its classic 4 button and joystick setup.

The second module is an FPS controller module – do you like playing Call of Duty: Mobile? or even PUBG:M? Then this is the perfect configuration for you. Lastly, the third module is a fan favorite MOBA Controller Module – with this, you can easily reach “legendary” heights.
Each module contains magnetic connectors, which coincidentally are also the points that connect the modules to the main handheld. These modules don’t need to be charged as they get charged wirelessly thanks to its connectors.

Starting with its processor – the GDP XP Plus has a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chip which is more powerful compared to last year’s GDP XP MediaTek Helio G95. The microchip also has the MediaTek HyperEngine 3.0 feature which optimizes gaming performance.
Along with that, it has an octa-core configuration powered by the Mali-G77 MC9 GPU, 4266MB Memory, USB-C port, 65W Charger, and an HDMI and DisplayPort 1.2.

The GDP XP Plus is expected to arrive in May 2022 and if you’re really interested you can pre-order the console via Indiegogo.
