Bandai Namco has announced today the release of its latest Gundam-based project, Gundam Evolution, its first free-to-play hero shooter. The game will be originally released on PC via Steam on September 21 in North America (September 22 in the Philippines) and will be followed by the release on multiple consoles, except the Nintendo Switch, on November 30, 2022.

In Gundam Evolution, players will get to pick from a roster of 12 playable mobile suits where they will then engage in a 6-versus-6 battle with their teammates and opposing players.

Apart from the fun that comes with playing with and against other players, they will also get to experience the game with objectives, based on three options—Destruction, Domination, and Point Capture. Each game mode comes with its unique set of challenges, which makes proper strategy in offense and defense the utmost importance per team.
