After its successful set off last year, the Philippine Pro Gaming League (PPGL) is now back with about Php1.3 Million worth of prizes for all aspiring pro gamers of League of Legends (LoL), Arena of Valor (AOV), Rules of Survival (ROS), and Tekken 7.
MET Events – formerly known as Mineski Events Team – together with Globe Telecom, brings back the country’s largest multi-title esports league, now with even bigger prizes at stake.
PPGL 2019 is open to all aspirants from all over the Philippines who would want to improve their own skills, expose themselves to the different ways of playing the games they admire, and even take their platform to seek valuable opportunity to make gaming a full-time career.
Arena of Valor and League of Legends have the highest cash prize as the winning team can take home Php200,000, while Rules of Survival champion shall be taking home Php160,000. Meanwhile, the champion for Tekken 7 shall take home Php90,000.
Qualifiers for Rules of Survival and Tekken 7 started last Saturday, February 2. While the qualifying round for LoL begins on February 17, and March 8 for AOV.
Everything will go down on a big live event as the grand finals for LoL, AOV, and Tekken 7 will take place on April 6-7, 2019 (venue to be announced). On the other hand, ROS legs will only be exclusive on Facebook Live.
