We kind of already saw what the Huawei P30 Pro would look like in a previous leak. However, a new render has circulated the internet suggesting a slightly different design for Huawei’s upcoming flagship.

The image shows the Huawei P30 Pro with a bizarre quad-camera array on the back — and we sure hope that this is fake.

It looks like Huawei will be sticking with the P20 Pro’s design. There are two cameras sitting together on the far left in a vertical orientation, while below that row is the third sensor, followed by the LED flash.

What’s new here is the three sensors right next to the first two. It looks like there’s the fourth camera in the middle, sandwiched with what we think is the Laser autofocus and another flash.

This orientation is actually identical to a different render we previously saw. Olixar, a smartphone case manufacturer, showed the back of the P30 Pro with the same two rows, but with a more appealing look as the four cameras are neatly placed all together in a single piece of glass, with the extras sitting on the second raw.

The confusion is actually understandable as case manufacturers are only given the rough outline to where they should leave the holes in their cases, but not necessarily what’s in them.

We’ll find the answers in this mystery once the Huawei P30 Pro becomes official sometime in March.
