OPPO revived the Find series last year with the OPPO Find X. And now, it looks like this line-up is staying for good as a successor is expected to arrive.

A document from the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) suggests that OPPO has trademarked the OPPO Find Z name. And looking back to the leaks and rumors that we have seen before, this might be OPPO’s grandest smartphone to date.

For starters, there’s the talked about 10x optical zoom capability, a technology that OPPO promised to fully showcase at MWC later this month. With no other devices known to sport this feature, the Find Z might be it — or OPPO is planning to showcase yet another prototype on the said event.

Besides the lossless zoom capability, OPPO might also include the 3D ToF sensor on this device — one of the key features that the R17 Pro has.

Moreover, this could also be the OPPO device spotted on GeekBench, which had a code name “Poseidon”. The listing shows a smartphone with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. OPPO also did a 5G prototype of the Find X, so expect them to throw the Qualcomm X50 modem in there.

Of course, OPPO’s prominent 50W SuperVOOC charging will never go missing.

Whether it’s going to be announced at MWC 2019 or not, we still expect to hear anything about this device at one of the biggest annual industry events later this month.
