The 5G era fast approaches to make the technological aspect of our modern world better and easier when it comes to their wireless connection services. OPPO, one of the pioneers of 5G, reveals their flagship Find X 5G prototype.

Launched during the China Mobile Global Partners Conference at Guangzhou, China, the 5G-equipped OPPO Find X features a Snapdragon 855 and X50 5G modem. Along with Qualcomm and Keysight Technologies Inc., they displayed the 5G’s data connectivity capabilities such as the simple browsing of sites from video calling and more.

During the conference, OPPO Global Vice President (and President of China Business), Brian Shen, commented that, “We are confident OPPO will be one of the first companies to launch commercial 5G smartphones in 2019.”

Last year, the company also showed a working prototype of an R15 equipped with 5G technology.

Levin Liu, Head of the OPPO Research Institute also stated that they “believe that rich 5G application scenarios and killer 5G applications will emerge in the future, bringing disruptive experiences to users.” And will act as ‘intelligent personal assistants’ talking about smartphones and smart devices.

OPPO also announced that they plan on working together with industry partners across the globe to develop a new 5G ecosystem. A 5G+ era in the future would mean ‘experience is king’. After all, who wouldn’t want a world where browsing is more convenient and easy?
