Sony has announced a major overhaul of its PlayStation Plus subscription service.
The new PlayStation Plus now comes in three tiers: PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium.
This new service will also have an upgraded library of games with 700+ more titles included. The service will now also integrate PlayStation Now, the console’s own game streaming service. You can check the new tiers below.

- Two monthly downloadable games
- Exclusive discounts
- Cloud storage for saved games
- Online multiplayer access

PlayStation Plus Extra
- Same as the Essential tier
- Additional ~400 PS4 and PS5 games from PlayStation Studio and third-party partners.
- Pricing: USD14.99 monthly, USD39.99 quarterly, USD99.99 yearly
PlayStation Plus Premium
- Same as Essential and Extra tiers
- Additional ~340 additional games: PS3 titles via cloud streaming, PS1, PS2, and PSP games via streaming and download.
- Cloud streaming access for PS1, PS2, PSP, and PS3 games offered in Extra and Premium tiers in countries with PlayStation Now.
- Time-limited game trials
- Price: USD17.99 monthly, USD49.99 quarterly, USD119.99 yearly
