Razer has not released a refresh of the Mamba Elite gaming mouse for years now. But apparently, a new model is already in the works.

Earlier today, we spotted a Facebook post by a member of the GeForce Community Philippines Facebook group which featured a live photo of what seems to be the official retail box of the newest version of the Razer Mamba Elite gaming mouse for 2018.

The image didn’t reveal much about the device, but it does spill out its design and the fact that it has Razer Chroma lighting support. The overall shape of the new Razer Mamba Elite 2018 is slightly identical to its predecessors, with two macro buttons on the left side.

There are also two RGB lighting on both edges which accentuates the device’s figure. In addition, there is also RGB on the scroll wheel and the Razer logo itself.

As stated earlier, the post didn’t reveal anything about its actual specs. But browsing through the comment section, we see that people are speculating that Razer might stick with a 16,000 DPI sensor on this thing, instead of a 20,000 DPI sensor that a lot of people are longing for.

The recent Razer Mamba gaming mouse had a 5G laser sensor, something that we might also see here. It also had an adjustable click force technology and 16.8 million customizable Chroma lighting.

The official launch date and full details about Razer’s new gaming mouse are yet to be announced. But like every other leak and rumor out there, take this with a grain of salt until Razer confirms it.
