Capcom’s most beloved and landmark entry in the Resident Evil series is finally confirmed to be in the works, following rumors of the case, via a teaser trailer—Resident Evil 4 Remake.
In the nearly 30-minute live stream video of PlayStation’s June 2022 State of Play presentation, Resident Evil 4 Remake become the introductory presentation which started with the date “3.24.2023” or March 24, 2023, before the actual trailer—a strong hint that the game is a little more than a year to finally getting released to the public.

Resident Evil 4, which was originally released on the Nintendo GameCube, has been considered a turning point for the franchise for its major shift to a smoother action-oriented gameplay design as opposed to the archetypal design seen in the previous titles.
Regarded also as the most milked entry in the entire series, the original Resident Evil 4 got ported to the PlayStation 2, Wii, iOS, and Android, as well as given an HD remastered treatment for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
