Tier One Entertainment is venturing into the Dota 2 competitive scene, with a newly announced lineup of Filipino pro players.

Prior speculations on the entry of the Philippine-based esports agency to Dota 2 esports were confirmed by chief executive officer Tryke Gutierrez. He posted a Facebook status update on November 17, revealing that Tier One had acquired a slot and took over esports team RSG in the first division of the Dota Pro Circuit 2023 season.

Five (5) veteran players have signed up to be part of Tier One’s Dota 2 team. They are the following:

  • Karl “Karl” Baldovino
  • Nico “eyyou” Barcelon
  • Marc Polo “Raven” Fausto
  • Carlo “Kuku” Palad
  • Timothy “Tims” Randrup

All of them have made a name for themselves in Dota 2 and were in winning teams at previous Dota 2 tournaments.

They will be the first to represent Blacklist Rivalry, a new team formed from a partnership between Tier one’s premiere esports division and Rivalry.

Besides Blacklist Rivalry, Blacklist International maintains several esports team in various other competitive games such as PUBG and Call of Duty: Mobile. Their Mobile Legends: Bang Bang team will be participating in the M4 World Championship on January 1 as the defending champion.
