I regret buying a gaming chair. For its design and features, it was relatively more affordable than most alternatives. But in retrospect, the price should have been a red flag. The chair started to fall apart after just a few months of use. Lesson learned: don’t buy a cheap gaming chair.
At this point, I might just buy a monobloc chair as a replacement. This new ad from Uratex has me seriously considering it, not to mention it has a touch of humor that was a delightful surprise. Many Filipinos gamers at some point in their life probably tried using monoblock chairs while playing games, so this video also comes with a bit of nostalgia.
These Uratex monoblock chairs are made of world-class materials and boast impressive specifications, including a seat load capacity reaching 200 kg, along with ISO 7173 Level 5 and BPS certifications. The sturdy quality certainly lives up to the company’s latest “Bawal Ang Marupok” campaign. These chairs are a solid, reliable choice that do their job without any fuss, albeit more uncomfortable for long hours of usage.

Honestly, the idea of going back to basics is refreshing. My back and wallet will thank me for it. Plus, these chairs are much easier to maintain and clean. I’ve simply had enough of peeling faux leather, wobbly armrests, and other fancy features that turn out to be just gimmicks.

Maybe someday, I’ll be able to afford a more expensive office chair for the best quality and ergonomics. But for now, a monoblock chair will probably do in a pinch.
