Coming to the TV studio and getting selected as lucky contestants in Willie Revillame’s Wowowin game show is not an option during the pandemic. But a new app will soon let the entertainer’s loyal followers get their fix and a chance to win real prizes without leaving their homes.
Launching soon in Android, the Wil to Play is a mobile game that draws inspiration from the game show. Users can play a set of mini-games, each of which grants prizes, to lucky winners.
Prizes range from food to gadgets from sponsors and partners. Revillame said during an interview that the app is his way of giving back to the less fortunate.
Wil to Play is developed by Big Crunch Digital. The company’s managing director, Jackie Chua, hopes to attract Wowowin’s 23 million social media followers.
