It’s been a while since HMD Global-led Nokia Mobile has released a premium phone, and the new Nokia G10 is not it either, hinting that the company may want to focus on the budget segment for now.
The Nokia G10 has a set of specs and features of a proper entry-level device. It runs on a humble MediaTek Helio G25 processor and runs on stock Android 11 software like its cousins.
Nokia also promised three years of regular security updates, which is always a nice touch to Nokia Android phones.
It may not be the most exciting device around, but Nokia promised it should last you for years. Besides the regular updates, the G10 has a minimalistic look with a lightweight and slim design, with a durable body for better longevity.
For a cleaner look, the G10 has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, which we’re starting to see implemented on many budget phones today. There’s also a USB Type-C port for data and charging.
The device also comes with a generous 5,050mAh battery. With its low-powered chip and low-resolution 6.5-inch screen, a single charge should be enough to last you for days.
Those living in the United States can get the Nokia G10 for a price of USD149 (around Php7,100). It’s now up for sale on Nokia’s official website.
