Another year, another game in the WWE 2K series. This time, publisher 2K has announced WWE 2K24 with the 40th anniversary of WrestleMania right around the corner.
Launching on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S, as well as their last-gen counterparts, and on PC through Steam, WWE 2K24 will be offered in multiple editions, including special editions that will be available March 5th, or three days prior to the standard edition.
The WWE 2K24 standard edition features Cody Rhodes on its cover, while Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley grace the cover of the deluxe edition. This is the first time in the WWE 2K series to feature two women are featured on the cover. As for the 40 Years of WrestleMania edition cover, several wrestling superstars are featured including Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
In terms of gameplay enhancements, WWE 2K24 expands its character creator, offering a wider range of parts and animations. The game also introduces new match types, support for creating custom referees and signs, and other gameplay upgrades. The roster is extensive with over 200 wrestlers.
With an official price of $99.99 (Php4,740), the deluxe edition is bundled with alternative attires for Ripley and Belair and the season pass that covers all five DLC packs coming post-launch. For $20 more, the 40 Years of WrestleMania edition comes with the deluxe edition content plus more attires and instant unlock of all wrestlers in the Showcase mode roster. The standard edition costs $59.99 (Php2,299) on PC and $69.99 on other platforms.
