It used to be that you need to visit a store to reload your Beep card. Thankfully, there’s now a much easier way to fill up this contactless smart card to help make your daily commute faster.
At long last, a special feature on the dedicated Beep Card app has been launched by the folks at AF Payments Inc. The new feature will allow most card users to reload their cards without having to wait long lines or risk being in crowded areas.

The app is also updated with real-time load balance checks and gives you the ability to convert reward points into load or QR tickets. Here are all the things you need to know about the latest service.
Can I reload my Beep Card using my Android smartphone?
Yes. The new feature requires Near Field Communications (NFC) technology, which is present in most midrange and high-end Android phones today.
Can I reload my Beep Card using my iPhone?
No. While most recent iPhones also have NFC, its use is only exclusive to select apps, which doesn’t include the Beep app — at least as of writing.
How to load my Beep Card using the mobile app with NFC?
Step 1: Open the Beep Card app and click the menu button on the bottom right corner.

Step 2: Tap “Buy Beep Load”.

Step 3: Pick the Beep Card account you want to reload. If it’s a new card, tap “Load Unregistered Card”.

Step 4: Enter the amount you want to reload.

Step 5: Click “Continue”.

Step 6: Enter your bank details. You can check the mode of payment options below.

Step 7: Once complete scroll down and tap “Back to Merchant”.

Step 8: When asked, you can now place your Beep card on the back of your smartphone where the NFC chip is located. This will directly transfer your new load to the card.
