Fiber internet company Converge ICT Solutions has partnered with Elon Musk’s satellite Internet constellation, Starlink, to enhance connectivity and expand its reach to more areas nationwide.

Converge ICT CEO Dennis Anthony H. Uy announced the company’s tie-up to become an authorized reseller of Starlink in the Philippines, extending its broadband reach to remote and far-flung areas.

“We’re among the few in the Philippines authorized by Starlink to resell its services—an acknowledgment of our deep market expertise and commitment to meeting the evolving needs of both enterprise and government clients,” Uy said.

The partnership aims to deliver high-speed, low-latency satellite Internet solutions to businesses and government agencies in remote locations, including those in the construction, mining, agriculture, retail, and hospitality sectors.

“By integrating Starlink into our suite of products, we’re unlocking new opportunities for these industries and the countless Filipinos who depend on them,” said Sherie Ng, Managing Director of Converge Singapore.

The satellite Internet constellation will also serve as a redundancy for Converge’s fiber network if one service is disrupted. This ensures continuous connectivity for users and businesses using their service.

The publicly listed telecommunications company stated that it projects a 5-10 percent increase in revenue through its collaboration with Starlink.

These corporate updates have since been confirmed by Converge ICT through a disclosure to the PSE on March 26, 2025, stating that the tie-up to resell Starlink in the Philippines will contribute to Converge’s FY2025 guidance, as reported in the 4Q/2024 Full Year Results, as mentioned by Business World.

Converge also announced its partnership with Ribbon Communications, a NASDAQ-listed company, to strengthen Internet service in the country.
