iPhone users will finally feel how a dual-boot setup looks like.
Dual-boot is not a new term to Windows and Android users. People have been running dual-boot operating systems on their PCs and Macs for years. There are even a number of tablet and laptop hybrids from manufacturers that run both full Windows and Android. However, that term is not usually associated with iOS devices – not until now.
A new app called CoolBooter lets you dual-boot two iOS versions on the same iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. The app requires your iPhone to be jailbroken, so keep that in mind before thinking of installing this application.

The CoolBooter app will let you install two iOs versions on your 32-bit Apple device as long as it jailbroken. The app is still in its beta stage but it’s simple to use. All you have to do is open Cydia and add the URL http://coolbooter.com to your source. Afterwards, install the CoolBooter app. The app will then be used to install the second OS and it will also be used to switch between the two iOS versions on the device.
CoolBooter currently works on devices that have their firmware keys publicly available, so the 5th Gen iPod Touch and the 1st gen iPad Mini won’t work with it. Compatible devices includes the iPhone 4, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPad 2, iPad 3, and iPad 4.
