The new iPad 8th generation, or the iPad 2020 as what most people will call it, have been officially announced.

Launched alongside the iPad Air, the iPad 2020 sports an A12 Bionic processor that has a 6-core CPU and 4-core GPU. That’s the same processor found on the iPhone XR, Xs, and Xs Max.

There’s a large 10.2-inch LED 2160 x 1620 resolution screen on the front, with the same thick bezels and TouchID on the bottom. There’s a 32.4Whr battery to keep the lights on, which charges via the Lightning port using an included 20W adapter.

We then have a 1.2-megapixel front camera for selfies, while on the back we have an 8-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.4 aperture.

It then has stereo speakers, dual microphones, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, and 4G LTE and GPS for the Cellular models.
