The ASUS Gaming X16 is the brand’s latest, non-ROG, budget gaming laptop, and it’s now in the Philippines.
Powering the ASUS Gaming X16 will be available in a single variant in the Philippines. It is powered by a 12th-gen Intel Core i5-13420H CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage.
The ASUS IceCool cooling technology is here that uses a liquid-crystal polymer fan with 87 IceBlades, 3 heat pipes, dual vents, and emits <38 dBA noise.
It doesn’t have HDR support or a vibrant AMOLED panel, but the large 16-inch IPS screen does have a high 144Hz refresh rate that’s great for gaming. The hinge has a 180-degree adjustment.
Port selection is aplenty, albeit the USB ports are not the fastest, with data speeds of just 5Gbps. It has two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 1, HDMI 2.1 TMDS, headphone jack, DC-in, and SD card reader.
It then has a 50WHrs 3-cell battery with a 120W AC adapter for charging. It is also MIL-STD-810H military-grade certified for durability.
The ASUS GAMING X16 K3605VC-RP493W retails for Php49,995. The Gaming V16 also landed in the Philippines with a starting price of Php59,995. You can get it from May 6 to June 15 with a free Official Genshin Impact Mousepad.
It is available at ASUS and ROG stores and authorized partners, where you can get it with a free ASUS backpack, a 2-year International Warranty, 1-year Accidental Damage Protection, and 3-month PC Game Pass.
