ASUS is bringing all of its Apollo Lake-powered VivoBook Max notebooks here in the Philippines. Initially released earlier this year, this new notebook line has almost all of the essential features that you will need for work, entertainment, and maybe a little bit of gaming this 2017.
For starters, these laptops have two different Intel Apollo Lake chipsets inside. For a quick history lesson, Apollo Lake chipsets were released mid last year, aimed to cater low-cost hardware. The said ASUS VivoBook Max that will be available in the Philippines will come in two variants: the first one has an Apollo Lake Pentium processor (N4200) while the second one has an Apollo Lake Celeron (N3350).
Other than the chipset, everything is pretty much the same with the two variants. They have the same DDR3 4GB RAM, 500GB of SATA storage, and much more.
ASUS is also marketing it to be designed for “immersive entertainment”. The ASUS Vivobook Max has a lot of exclusive technologies that were developed only for their devices. The ASUS VivoBook Max is said to have SonicMaster audio with ICEpower technology for an improved loudspeaker performance. It also has the company’s very own Splendid and Tru2Life technologies to make sure the display always projects impressive contents.
