HUAWEI just launched a couple of new productivity machines in the Philippines. One of them is the MateBook D 14 2023.
The new HUAWEI MateBook D 14 2023 comes with a 14-inch FHD IPS display, with a 16:10 aspect ratio, thin bezels for a 90% screen-to-body ratio, and a hinge that can almost go flat. It’s also relatively lightweight at 1.39kg with a thickness of 15.9mm. HUAWEI also bragged that the laptop managed to pass 10,000x durability tests.
Under the hood, it is powered by a 12th-gen Intel Core i5-1240P CPU with Intel Irs Xe integrated graphics. It’s paired with a generous 16GB LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of PCIe SSD.
The large 56WWhrs battery, as per HUAWEI, can last for up to 13 hours of video playback. It charges via the included 65W USB-C charger, which you can also use on your smartphone, tablet, and other devices.
It also comes with HUAWEI Metaline antenna for a 270m long-range network connection. Plus, HUAWEI Super Device if you’re deep in the brand’s ecosystem.
A 720p webcam can be used for video calls and conferencing, complete with special software features like FollowCam, Eye Contact, virtual background, and Beauty retouches.
The new HUAWEI MateBook D 14 2023 has a price of Php44,999 in the Philippines. It’s available on the HUAWEI Online store and physical stores nationwide.
