Foldable displays are finding a stable ground in the smartphone world, but will it do the same in the PC market? LG sure hopes so as it unveils the new LG Gram Fold.
The LG Gram series is the brand’s line of ultra-light MacBook killers. Now, it’s getting more interesting with the new LG Gram Fold, which features an enormous 17-inch foldable display that you can use entirely as a monitor in different orientations paired with an external Bluetooth keyboard, or fold it 90 degrees and use the other half of the screen as a keyboard like a traditional laptop.
This display uses an OLED panel with a 2560 x 1920 pixel resolution. When the other half is used as a keyboard, you’d be getting a 12-inch display. The large screen is paired with three stereo speakers for audio.

Like other LG Gram machines, it’s still thin and light at only 9.4mm (unfolded) and 1.25kg, respectively. As for the specs, the Gram Fold is powered by a 13th-gen Intel Core i5-1335U processor, with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

It has a large 72Wh battery with 65W charging, has a modern dual-band WiFi 6e connectivity, Bluetooth 5.1, and two USB-C port.
The new LG Gram Fold was unveiled in South Korea for a price of KRW4.99 million, or roughly Php210,000 when directly converted to Philippine pesos. Global pricing and release details shall be unveiled soon, so stay tuned for that.
