Microsoft has taken the wraps off its latest high-end device that’s designed for productivity, business, and education. The Surface Pro 7+ is a 2-in-1 PC that boasts LTE connectivity, bigger battery, and a more powerful processor.
As an update to the Surface Pro 7 that arrived in the Philippines last November, the Microsoft Surface Pro 7+ now allows more use on a single full charge—up to 15 hours (which is 4.5 hours longer than Pro 7). Charging is blazingly fast too as an hour of charging can bring the device up to 80 percent already.
Another key feature that should be a delight for business and productivity users is the removable SSD storage that conforms with data retention standards. And then there’s the aforementioned LTE connectivity as the icing on the cake, though it’s only available on the fanless Core i5 model. Both physical SIM cards and eSIM can be used, with at least 180 supported countries.
Other specs of the Surface Pro 7+ are Windows 10 Pro, a choice of 10th gen Intel Core processors, and up to 32GB RAM. Price starts at $899 (approx. ₱43,200), but the device is only available to enterprises and the education sector. So, no, it won’t be in general retail stores
