Naga Sipag is a new laptop introduced by a Philippine tech company called NagaTech.
It’s definitely not the most interesting laptop on the market today. But, what makes the Naga Sipag special is that it’s assembled in the Philippines, with the parts imported and fabricated from Taiwan.
The Sipag is a compact laptop that features a 14-inch QHD+ display, with 2880 x 1800 pixel resolution, and a high 120Hz refresh rate. It also boasts a 100% sRGB color coverage if you want to do some minor photo editing.
It is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 125H CPU, has a 16GB DDR5 RAM upgradeable up to 32GB via the two slots, and a 512GB PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage upgradeable up to 2TB.
It also boasts a large 80Wh battery that charges via a 100W USB-C PowerDeliver charger. Connectivity includes WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. They didn’t detail the included ports, but the product photos show it has HDMI, USB-C, and ethernet ports on the back.
There is also a 3.5mm headphone jack on the left, together with a USB-A, another USB-C, and Kensington lock.
The company plans to sell the Naga Sipag for a price of Php39,995, which will be sold on an upcoming online portal. It will come with a one-year local warranty that covers both parts and labor.
A physical store presence is also planned once the company gains more traction in the local market.
