Because new releases last week weren’t enough, Asus is introducing yet another variant of the ZenFone. This one’s aimed for the people who don’t want to break the bank just for a smartphone, and it’s called the Asus ZenFone Go.
The Asus ZenFone Go is a 5-inch handset with 720p IPS display. It’s powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor along with 2GB of RAM and presumably Mali graphics. Android 5.1 Lollipop runs beneath the ZenUI custom skin (which comes with Trend Micro Dr. Safety and ZenUI Instant Updates). Like all other ZenFone handsets, the ZenFone Go is dual SIM capable.

Although pegged as an entry-level smartphone, the Asus ZenFone Go does have a nice 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture. On the other hand, selfie lovers will find the front-facing camera a bit unsatisfactory with its low 2-megapixel resolution and fixed focus.
Since it was first spotted at online retailer FlipKart, it’s safe to say the Asus ZenFone Go is first headed to India. No price has been set yet. Every unit comes with a free 100GB of free Google Drive storage for 2 years.
