The vivo 3×3 Basketball Challenge returned on July 21, 2024, at SM City Fairview. Mall goers, basketball enthusiasts, and supporters gathered to witness the matches. Glenn Chiu, the vivo representative, delivered opening remarks. Chiu thanked everyone for their presence and announced prizes for players. Participants had the chance to win vivo smartphones and up to Php30,000 in cash.

A total of 16 teams participated in the event, with 8 coming from the men’s and another 8 for the women’s divisions.

The passion and determination of the first four teams in the Women’s Division were evident during the opening games, which made the initial games exciting to watch. Afterwards, the following four teams in the Men’s Division displayed enthusiasm through competitive games, drawing in an even larger audience.
During the games, the audience witnessed a showcase of skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship from all the teams involved.
The team with the highest number of wins in each pool progressed to the next round. And like any other competition, the ultimate objective was to advance to the Grand Finals scheduled in August 2024.
The National University Dance Company showcased two sensational dance performances at the event. The dancers showcased dynamic moves and vibrant energy that captivated the audience. Their performance set the perfect tone for the day, leaving a lasting impression on all people who watched.
