Lenovo has launched the 5-inch A6000 Plus entry-level smartphone in the Philippines.
The Lenovo A6000 Plus basically the same old A6000 smartphone that was first announced at CES 2015 in January, but as a “Plus” phone it offers a bit of improvements here and there. The RAM has doubled to 2GB, and the internal storage has been bumped up from 8GB to 16GB.
But almost everything else remains the same. We’re talking about a phone with a 5-inch HD screen, twin speakers with Dolby Digital Plus, Snapdragon 410 processor. Android 4.4 KitKat with Vibe UI 2.0 comes pre-installed, but it is upgradeable to Android Lollipop 5.0. Even the design remains unchanged down to the last detail. Tell us if you spot a difference.
The Lenovo A6000 Plus feature offers 4G LTE connectivity, dual SIM slots, microSD expansion and an 8-megapixel camera. Lenovo has also preloaded its own apps that help users share their multimedia files, import their existing configurations from their old phones, and make the A6000 Plus more secure.
