If these latest benchmark leaks are to be believed, the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be launching in two versions—the SM-G900R4 that’s jam-packed with the latest hardware and the lesser specced (but still high-end) SM-G900H.
As seen in the leaked benchmark result below, the SM-G900R4 boasts a Snapdragon 800 processor, Adreno 330 GPU, and 1440p resolution, along with 32GB internal storage and 3GB of RAM. This model is reportedly bound for the US market.
On the other hand, the rest of the world will apparently be receiving the SM-G900H model of the Samsung Galaxy S5. This time we have an 8-core Exynos 5422 powering the device, along with Mali T628 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Screen resolution is down to 1080p, while internal storage is just 16GB.
We’ll be able to confirm if these two are the real deal at the upcoming Unpacked event.
Looks like Samsung came up with a similar strategy with Apple (IPhone 5S and IPhone 5C). Seems to me that Samsung really is a copycat.
