Starmobile didn’t hesitate to go all-out this holiday season, releasing a variety of smartphones with different prices so as to cater every kind of budget-conscious Filipino. Whereas the Muse takes the lead and Navi trails behind, the Starmobile Diamond S1 covers the mid-range market at Php8,990.
For that price, the Starmobile Diamond S1 offers a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen with qHD resolution. There’s Asahi Dragontrail Glass placed on top for high scratch resistance. As for its design, the device touts a sleek appearance and thin profile for its size. It’s also relatively light at 153g.
Performance should be quite fast thanks to the MediaTek MT6582M quad-core CPU running under hood, complemented by a Mali 400MP GPU for smoother rendering of graphics. Users will also be to run a couple of apps simultaneously with the 1GB RAM onboard. With back-illuminated sensors (BSI), pictures taken with the Starmobile Diamond S1 look great.
