Mobile manufacturer vivo is preparing to launch the vivo V29 5G in the Philippines, a smartphone which the company claims is set to transform the photography experience.

vivo included some sample photos to highlight the smartphone’s camera performance. Based on the photos and video showcased below, it looks like vivo truly has a superb product with cutting-edge cameras.

The vivo V29 5G promises to keep everyone “in perfect focus and detail” with its selfie camera, featuring a 50-megapixel 92-degree wide-angle lens, auto-focus, and electronic image stabilization.

Vivo says this front-facing shooter will also be groundbreaking for selfie vlogging by capturing happy moments within the frame while maintaining stable and clear videos without significant facial distortions.

Moving to the back of the vivo V29 5G, you’ll find a powerful ultra-sensing main camera that features 50 megapixels of resolution and optical image stabilization with a 1/1.57-inch sensor, powered by Quad Bayer technology to double the default 1 μm pixel size. The camera is optimized for low-light conditions to ensure sharp, clear quality at night. Here’s a sample video provided by vivo to showcase the phone’s Super Night Video feature:

Another vivo V29 5G highlight is the Aura Light 2.0, a smart color temperature adjustment feature that adapts to the surrounding light conditions. vivo says this helps reduce, if not eliminate, inconsistencies in color temperature that lead to color shifts in resulting images or videos. So regardless of your setting, be it a nightclub or a restaurant, Aura Light 2.0 will make sure the color temperature blends well with the ambient lighting.

The V29 5G caters to foodies on-the-go with a dedicated Food Mode to make dishes look more appetizing. Star gazers will also appreciate the inclusion of Supermoon and Celestial modes, allowing them to enjoy the splendor of the moon and other celestial wonders.
