It looks like Elon Musk, Tesla CEO and currently, the richest man in the world is buying Twitter after all.
Elon Musk already started talks to buy Twitter a few months ago for USD54.20 a share. However, the deal fell apart after Musk backed out after he found out that Twitter has bot issues.

Since then, Twitter has filed a lawsuit against Musk in an attempt to revive the deal.
Now, it looks like the attempt by Twitter was a success as the deal is back on track. As per the people behind Twitter, they received a letter from Musk’s people which they have filed with the SEC. The intention is to close the transaction at USD54.20 per share.

The move was apparently for Musk to skip the trial, which was supposed to happen on October 17.
It is said that the deal is worth USD44 billion (around Php2.5 trillion).
