TikTok made an exciting announcement to TikTokers on Tuesday when it announced a new feature that will help creators generate more profit.

Known for its bite-sized video content, TikTok has pushed the envelope by giving select users the ability to generate longer content, which they can then sell to users.

Labeled “Series,” the new feature can contain as many as 80 videos, each of which lasts for up to 20 minutes, breaking the ground of the platform’s previously maximum 10-minute mark. Creators, however, can share content as short as 15 seconds.

TikTokers are given the liberty of pricing their premium content, ranging from $0.99 to $189.99 per video, according to a TikTok spokesperson.

Although not all creators would be able to make use of the Series at launch, TikTok is promising broader access to more users as it plans to open up applications in the coming months.
