A popular YouTuber and attorney is launching a legal challenge against the online game Roblox, accusing it of failing to protect its young users. The creator, known as Law By Mike, says he is teaming up with the legal representatives of another Roblox figure, a predator catcher named Schlep.
The announcement was made in a video posted on September 4, 2025. In it, Law By Mike argues that Roblox presents itself as a secure digital playground for children but does not do enough to prevent adults from contacting minors on the platform. He referenced an existing lawsuit from earlier in the year that involves a minor, identified only as DH, which makes similar allegations.
This legal move follows a recent incident where Roblox banned the account of Schlep in August 2025. Schlep had gained a large audience by creating videos where he identified and confronted suspected predators on Roblox. The company stated his ban was due to breaking rules against vigilante behavior on its platform.

Law By Mike claims that Roblox’s investment in content moderation has not kept pace with its enormous number of users. He is encouraging individuals who believe they or their children were targeted on Roblox to reach out to his law firm through a dedicated website.
It is important to note that Schlep himself is not currently suing Roblox. He confirmed the collaboration with Law By Mike on social media but clarified that no lawsuit has been formally filed yet. He stated that his main focus remains on promoting child safety. Law By Mike also added a comment to his video confirming that Schlep is not an active plaintiff in the planned legal action.
