Netflix has announced that they are lowering the monthly fees for Filipinos subscribed in the Standard and Basic tier of its streaming service.
The streaming giant tapped Filipino dance group Sexbomb Girls to do the promotional video announcing the lowered subscription fees.
Netflix Basic plan would now cost Php249/month, Php120 cheaper than the previous rate of Php369. On the other hand, the Standard plan is now priced at Php399/month from the former Php459/month.
Premium and Mobile subscribers will continue to pay the same rate of Php549 and Php149, respectively.
New signs ups starting today will get the new pricing scheme. Existing subscribers will have to wait for their next billing cycle to get the adjusted fees.
