The Philippine Red Cross joins the digital revolution as it now embraces cryptocurrency as part of its noble cause of preventing and alleviating suffering across the globe. The non-profit organization is partnering up with the Philippine Digital Asset Exchange (PDAX) and its specially designed platform, PDAX Donate, for access to safe and transparent donations.
Made specifically for non-profit institutions, PDAX Donate plays a critical role in processing cryptocurrency donations. Becoming a donor can be as easy as going to donate.pdax.ph, made easier still by the platform’s user-friendly interface, and then selecting the Philippine Red Cross among the list of partners.
Donors can also choose from a selection of 37 different cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin and Ethereum.
In opting to donate to the Philippine Red Cross, donors can also choose which among a selection of programs to support, ranging from disaster relief, health services, blood services, and other important services.

To donate, simply declare the amount you wish to donate, state the reason for providing the gift, and then choose the cryptocurrency you wish to give.
To facilitate the effective use of the donation, the Philippine Red Cross converts the cryptocurrency received into the Philippine Peso, which is then sent to its bank account.
PDAX Chief Executive Officer Nichel Gaba highlights global accessibility, faster transactions, and transparency of blockchain records as among the advantages of using cryptocurrency for charitable causes.
With decentralization and lower expenses as part of their design compared to the traditional financial system, Gaba said that more money goes to charity organizations in support of their cause.
