The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) is once again set to bring a major event into the world of sports as it cooks up the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023.

But in order to bring its latest championship to the next level, it needed the support of its partners. Heeding the call is the FIBA partner and the world’s second TV brand, TCL, for lending a hand in delivering the sport’s most brilliant to Manila.

That comes following a series of methodical planning workshops for the up-and-coming FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023.

Under the oversight of FIBA Marketing, the three-day workshop centers around the eventual event, particularly in covering every aspect of the competition’s planning as well as management for the partners.

After finding a success with an initial partnership back in 2018, FIBA and TCL announced a new global partnership which put the latter at the center stage of the court, including as a presenter of the “TCL Player of the Game” and the exclusive Presenting Sponsorship rights for the Asian Qualifiers for both the Asia Cup 2021 and the FIBA Asia Cup 2021.

Starting August 5, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Japan will play host to the World Cup Group Phase, which will then lead to the crowning of champions in Manila on September 10, 2023.
