The official trailer and release date of the highly anticipated Slam Dunk movie has been unveiled.
UPDATE: Here’s a new trailer released on November 4.
Titled The First Slam Dunk, it is a spin-off of the popular anime and manga series originally created by Takehiko Inoue. The creator will also be the director and writer for the script, in partnership with Toei Animation.
Before the Slam Dunk anime aired from 1993 to 1996, the original basketball manga first showed up in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine back in 1990.

Before The First Slam Dunk, the anime got four movie sequels, with the last one released way back in July 1995.
The First Slam Dunk official release date in cinemas is set on December 3, 2022 in Japan. There’s no word yet regarding international screenings.
