The timing might not be perfect as many people thought it was an April Fool’s joke, but ASUS assured fans that the announcement of its first handheld console, the ROG Ally, is real.

It’s so real they even made a 3-minute video for it that you can check below. The new ASUS ROG Ally will be powered by a custom Ryzen AMD and will run on Windows 11.

The video also said that it will provide “full HD gaming”, will have silent dual-fans, and the standard controller setup: dual analog sticks, D-pad on the left, four face buttons, and other buttons for settings and more.

What’s interesting is, users can plug it into a ROG XG Mobile eGPU that already works with some of their laptops while playing on a bigger monitor or TV. This shall help unlock better capabilities to the device.

The trailer also shows the console running WRC Generations, Moving Out, and High On Life. What makes it more real is that there’s a Best Buy link where interested buyers can sign up for more information about the pre-order.
