ASUS Philippines surprised us when they posted a teaser of an upcoming smartphone release.
From what it looks like, the device in subject here is the ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M2, a follow-up to the popular Zenfone Max Pro M1 of early 2018.
It’s predecessor became popular due to its appealing specs for the price. It had a large display, capable processor, and long battery life. Something that the Max Pro M2 would try to match, or most-likely surpass.
The first teaser we saw was from ASUS Indonesia. Their Twitter post taunts other brands who came up with a “Pro” device, and mocks the competitions’ battery longevity, screen durability, camera quality, and performance.
Thus, we expect the ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M2 to have all these departments completely locked down. ASUS Indonesia also used the hashtag: #NextGenerationGaming — so, yeah, get excited.
ASUS Philippines’ also posted a teaser under a more modulated tone. Their teaser provides a silhouette of the device’s back, but is cleverly lit to let us know that it has a dual primary camera, a rear fingerprint scanner, curved edges, and a shiny, hopefully-made-of-glass back panel.
The ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M2 is expected to be unveiled on December 11. So if you’re Christmas wishlist is already filled, you might want to wait for this one.
