Last week, I shared with you the newest marketplace in town, Shopee. A few days ago, I was cleaning my room and found things that I no longer use, so I decided to put some of them up for sale. Read on to get to know about my experience.
I immediately gathered the things that I can sell and took photos of them. In my previous post, I showed you how to buy and sell using the Shopee mobile app. I did the exact same steps shown there, and proceeded to do it for all my listings. I uploaded the photos from my phone’s gallery and filled-up the required fields. There’s an option to include the shipping fee in the asking price, and I encourage everyone to include it. I now have several items up for sale and I’m ready to make a sale. After posting the ads, I was prompted with the options to share it on my social media accounts to get the attention of potential buyers.
A few hours after putting up my ads, I already got inquiries. With Shopee, buyers can safely order the products they want and still be secured even if the seller is miles away. Shopee guarantees that the payment will only be sent to the seller after the buyer receives the item. I haven’t made a sale yet, but I’m positive that I will soon get one because I get tons of inquiries on my items.
I already tried shopping in Shopee and it’s been a pleasant experience so far. You can search from all locations available and not worry about the shipping since the transaction is secure. What I like most about it is the ability to chat directly to the seller and make an offer. If they agree, you can proceed to the transaction. The payment method is through bank transfer, in which you can deposit on one of Shopee accounts. After the payment, keep the receipt and upload it to the related order.
