The new Insta360 Ace Pro 2 is now official and is immediately launched in the Philippines.
Boosted by Leica, the Insta360 Ace Pro 2 features a 157-degree ultra-wide-angle lens with Leica Summarit lens and has built-in Leica color profiles for more artistic action shots.

It uses a 1/1.3-inch sensor that can shoot up to 8K videos at 30fps or 120fps slow-mo with 4K resolution. It then snap photos with a 50-megapixel resolution.
Like most 2024 tech products, the Ace Pro 2 also has AI technology, which is used for “stunning low light clarity.” It can also do 2x shots without a noticeable drop in quality. Plus, a built-in wind guard for clearer audio.

The design undeniably looks like a GoPro. You get a 2.5-inch touchscreen that’s 70% sharper, attached to a flip hinge that’s said to be 100% more durable than the previous generation. Albeit, the second screen still can’t be used as a viewfinder and only shows battery life, storage left, and record duration.
For the battery, Insta360 claims that it can last for up to 180 minutes and can be charged to 80% in just 18 minutes via a 30W PD adapter, albeit a full charge will take 47 minutes. Gesture and Voice Control 2.0 are also here.

For processing, the Ace Pro 2 has a dedicated Pro Imaging chip that’s said to have up to 100% better computing power. There’s also a dedicated 5nm chip to handle AI. Of course, the device is rugged and is waterproof up to 39 feet.
The Insta360 Ace Pro 2 has a price of Php24,990 while the dual-battery variant retails for Php25,990. It will soon be available online and on authorized resellers in the Philippines.
