It looks like the past is making a comeback. And one big evidence to this is the reemergence of the popularity of Polaroid. For those who are too young, or not too cool for this era, Polaroids are your parents’ camera from before that shoots and instantly prints the images that were taken.

If the good-old Polaroids are just too old-school for you, but you still want that retro shooting feels, then you can check out the new Polaroid Pop.

This boxy, colorful, comes-with-a-lace camera retains the classic features that the good ol’ Polaroids have, but with a twist to appeal the millennials.

Polaroid-Pop

Unlike the standard Polaroid, the Pop takes pictures digitally with its 20-megapixel CMOS sensor. The images taken are then saved to the microSD card (up to 128GB) that you throw in.

With this, you can take as many photos as your microSD can hold without having to worry about running out of photo paper to print on.

If you then decide to print an image, you pick a specific image from its 3.97-inch screen. The 3.5 x 4.25-inch photo will then be printed with its Zink Zero Ink Printing Technology.

And to further elevate its modern-ess, the Polaroid Pop lets you shoot videos with a resolution of up to 1080p. You can also apply different filters, photos, and what not, just like on a smartphone.

Speaking of smartphones, you can connect your Android or iOS device to the Polaroid Pop via WiFi and Bluetooth to transfer files so you can upload it instantly to your different social media accounts.

You can get the Polaroid Pop in select retailers online and offline. The actual camera retails for Php13,990, while the film costs Php50 apiece.
