samsung galaxy s9 leaked

It looks like the Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ leaks are already gaining steam. After the earlier rumored release date, we are now treated with a possible render of Samsung’s next flagship smartphone.

Complete with a detailed CAD render and a video showcasing it, there’s a huge chance that we might be looking at the Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+.

First, let’s take a look at the Galaxy S9. As per the render, its aesthetics are not too far away from its predecessor, the Galaxy S8. It has the same glass-on-glass body, with rounded corners with a metal band in between.

But one noticeable change is the fingerprint scanner placement. Both the Galaxy S8 and Note 8 have a top-notch design, with only one major design flaw. Now, it’s being addressed as the scanner is now below the rear-facing camera with a vertical orientation.

The Galaxy S9+ also share the same aesthetics, only this time, it gets to have a dual-camera setup at the back. And finally, Samsung has more ways to market the Plus variant despite having a taller screen and bigger display.

It looks like the Bixby button is not going anywhere as well as the 3.5mm headphone jack. The Galaxy S9’s dimensions are said to be at 147.6 x 68.7 x 8.4mm while the S9+ is at 157.7 x 73.8 x 8.5mm. Both devices will be shorter, wider, but slightly thicker than their predecessors which can possibly because of the bigger screen and battery that it might have.

We can also expect both the Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ to sport Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 flagship chipset which offers better video recording, AI processing, and overall faster and efficient performance.

We’ll take all these leaks with a grain of salt until Samsung officially announce the device some time in the early quarter of 2018.
