Sony’s hottest, ground-breaking, flagship mirrorless camera, the Sony A9 III, is now in the Philippines.
The Sony A9 III garnered a lot of buzz when it came out in November with its global shutter system, which replaces the traditional rolling shutter sensor so it can capture fast-moving subjects much better with no distortion achieving up to 1/16000 shutter speeds.
This shutter system is in the stacked, full-frame 24.6-megapixel CMOS Exmor RS sensor. It can do 120fps continuous shooting, has 5-axis image stabilization, Composite RAW Shooting, and a BIONZ XR image processing engine.
Of course, it utilizes AI recognition for advanced autofocus — which works on human, animal, or even object subjects. You can also customize the focus area.
It then records 4K distortion-free movies with up to 120p. Plus, has an S-Cinetone cinematic look, and an Auto Framing feature. Shooting is made easier with the 4-axis multi-angle monitor.
Sony also included a new front custom button, two CFexpress Type-A media slots, and a shading curtain when the camera is off so you can switch lenses safely.
The Sony A9 III has a price of Php349,599 in the Philippines and comes with a free CEA-G160T 160GB CF Express Type-A card valued at Php28,900. It’s now up for pre-order until February 4 with a Php5,000 downpayment on Sony’s website and authorized dealers nationwide.
