The last time we’ve heard about the Flare S6 and S6 Plus was during the company’s monthly Facebook Live show. According to the brand’s product development engineer, both the Cherry Mobile Flare S6 and S6 Plus will sport a tall 18:9 screen, which they are calling TrueView screens.
Today, someone sent us this render which is said to be the upcoming Cherry Mobile smartphone. We now have a clear “view” of what the Plus variant would look like.
In the render posted above, we see a Cherry Mobile device that features not two, not three, but four cameras — basically a quad-camera setup. Moreover, we’re also seeing two LED flashes at the back and another one on the front.
This means that the Cherry Mobile Flare S6 Plus will let you take pictures and selfies with the trendy bokeh effect and clear lowlight photos with the help of two LED flash. It’s currently unknown whether they will have a wide-angle or a telephoto lens.
Moreover, it looks like the Flare S6 Plus will utilize on-screen buttons as it doesn’t have a physical one. Cherry Mobile might have also resorted to using capacitive ones, but that’s highly unlikely. With this kind of display, on-screen buttons are definitely the way to go.
And lastly, we have the fingerprint scanner at the back, just like what they did with the Desire R8. I also noticed a slight indentation at the top, suggesting that it will have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
But of course, let’s not forget those antenna bands at the top and bottom of the device. It’s an aesthetic choice that’s seen on most devices today in pattern to Apple’s iPhone 7.
Well, that’s it for now. Both the Cherry Mobile Flare S6 and S6 Plus are set to be officially unveiled on October 12, so be on the lookout.
