Doogee has yet another bizarre-looking smartphone — the Doogee BL5000. It’s now available here in the Philippines.
The company hasn’t revealed much when they teased the Doogee BL5000 back in July. But one thing is for sure, it has a pretty unconventional but distinct Doogee design.
Most devices in this category are built in an all-metal material — but not Doogee. Just like the Doogee Mix, Mix Lite, and the upcoming Mix 2; the BL5000 is made with a combination of reflective glass and metal.
The handset also gets to have a wide-angle 8-megapixel front camera. At the back, it has two 13-megapixel sensors. Hopefully, the camera issues we had on the Doogee Mix has been fixed by now.
Speaking of the Doogee Mix, it is also getting a 5.5-inch HD screen from sharp. It might not look as funky as the Mix, but at least the front camera isn’t awkwardly positioned at the bottom.
Moreover, there’s a MediaTek octa-core processor inside to power this thing up. It’s backed by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. Doogee also added a beefy 5050mAh battery for the power users to love.
